Employment Positions

We are currently accepting staff for Soccer officiating and Flag FB officiating.

Application Deadline is Sept. 3

Parks Seasonal and Field Crew positions are typically filled in late April and early May of each year.

Interested individuals should complete the Application for Employment and submit to the Parks and Recreation office.

Employment Guidelines:
Federal and Ohio Laws regulate employment for individuals for minors under the age of 18. For specific regulations, please check with Ohio law. Basic requirements for work in City of Aurora are as follows:

Under 14:
- May volunteer but cannot be paid

Ages 14 - 15:
- Obtain Work Permit
- Complete Wage Agreement
- Complete Parental Consent

Ages 16 - 17
- Obtain work permit when school is in session
- Complete Wage Agreement
- Complete Parental Consent

Volunteer Coaches

Volunteer coaches are essential in creating a positive learning environment for children teaching sportsmanship, fundamental skills, teamwork and responsibilty. Coach should have a desire to work with children, be enthusiastic, pateint, organized, dependable and responsible. Coaches must be 18 years of age as well as must be fingerprinted once a year. Coaches are expected to attend meetings, practices and games as well as comunicate with parents.
